Delete your account

In the app

Open Around Me, go to More, and under your email address tap Delete account.

On this page

Enter the email address you sign in with. We’ll email you a 6-digit code to prove it’s you, then you confirm.

Delete only some of your data

You don’t have to close your account to remove data. In the app, go to More → My business and open a listing, then:

• Remove listing — deletes that business listing
• Remove photo or Remove brochure — deletes the cover photo or PDF
• Edit details & hours — change or clear the phone number, email, website and description

For anything else, email hello@aroundme.guide from the address you sign in with and tell us what to delete. We reply within one month.

What gets deleted when you close your account

• Your account and sign-in details
• All your business listings, including cover photos, brochures and on-site confirmation history
• Messages you sent us through the contact form

This happens straight away and can’t be undone. Any Gold or Platinum time left on your listings is lost.

What we keep

Records of payments for upgrades are kept for 6 years because the law requires it for tax purposes. They show the amount, date, tier and the listing’s name, but are no longer linked to you. Copies in our backups are overwritten within 30 days.
